What to Know Before Booking

You can book an appointment through the links at the bottom of the page. Please read through the following before booking.

I see patients in person in West Islip, NY and virtually throughout the state of New York. To see me virtually, you do not need to reside in New York, but you do need to be physically located in the state of New York at the time of the visit.

I am out of network with all insurance plans, which allows me to provide more in depth, high-quality, personalized care.

An initial visit is a 60+ minute comprehensive review of your symptoms and your overall health. I encourage open communication with me for 3 months after your visit to review imaging or labs results, answer questions, or updates on how things are going for you. The initial visit fee is $400.

A follow up visit is $250. This is a 30 minute visit to follow up on ongoing issues.

  • For in person visits, payment is due at the time of the visit, and can be made via credit card, HSA card, FSA card, Venmo, Zelle, and cash.
  • For telemedicine visits, payment is due at the time of booking, and can be made below via credit card, HSA card, or FSA card.

At this time, I cannot see patients who are on Medicare or Medicaid due to restrictions that these plans have on out of network providers.

After the appointment, I will provide you with a super bill through the patient portal, which is a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if you have out of network benefits. (NYSHIP members  typically get reimbursed 80% of the visit fees).

After booking, keep an eye out for 2 emails that you will receive within a day of booking.
  • One will come from OnPatient, inviting you to the patient portal. I encourage you to register for the portal in advance of the visit and complete the "Reasons for Visit." You will need to select check in for appointment in order to complete this form.
  • The other email will come from katie@katierowanwellness.com. Keep an eye out for this, as it may go to your spam folder.
